Modern supermarkets and shopping centres are readily available for all your shopping needs, but the owner of Kazuri also highly recommends the local fish, fruit and vegetable markets where you can experience incredibly fresh local produce. The weekly Gypsy market for clothing, fabric goods and other bargains can be quite fun. The markets at Loule and Quarteira being two of the best.
Many of the Portuguese wines and beers are excellent, and the Algarve is also famous for its cakes and rustic breads.

The nearest courts are approximately 4 km away, and are available for hourly hire. Tennis centres also offer coaching by international professionals.
The Algarve is renowned for its first class golfing facilities. Many famous courses are within a radius of 15 km; the nearest being only 4 km away.
Excellent bowling greens have recently been built in Villamoura, 4 km away. Casual members are welcomed.
Several schools offer accompanied hacks and cross-country treks. Good instruction is also available from qualified instructors; riding is a popular winter recreation, as well as an opportunity to gain a different perspective of the countryside.
Boats skirt the coastline and stop off for al fresco barbecues onshore. Deep see fishing can be exhilarating, whilst a boat trip up the Guardiana River (which separates Spain and Portugal) can be a fun day out.
The nearby sports club offers excellent facilities, including a gym and indoor heated pools. Also available locally are clay pigeon shooting, sailing and Micro-light flying.
Many additional activities are available during the summer months, including water slides, water skiing, pedallos, paragliding and other water sports. For the courageous go-karting, hang gliding and bungee jumping will really get your adrenaline pumping!
